Grand Admiral Thrawn

Grand Admiral Thrawn. Full name, Mitth'raw'nuruodo. A Chiss that served in the Imperial Navy as Grand Admiral in both Legends (Star Wars: TIE Fighter & Thrawn Trillogy (Heir to the Empire, Dark Force Rising & The Last Command)) and Canon (Star Wars: Rebels & the novel Thrawn). He's also a planned import character in my stories within Draw Your Own Story as the Admiral for the Navy for my faction occupying the same position as Chief of Naval Operations by the time Nationalist Coruscant comes to light. Hense Thrawn being flanked by the flags of Nationalist Coruscant (the flag on the right is the naval jack while the left is the national flag). Thrawn will be the first character within the DYOS world that I import into that also takes into account of his personality and characterization from source materials (from both Legends and Canon) instead of blank slate uninteresting imports like Wesker and Breen (or running off the rails like General Kwai). As well as the first Star Wars import character into DYOS that I've done a proper render in the source engine.

I am aware that there is a Thrawn model on the Gmod workshop that is his Rebel's incarnation. Unfortunately that model lacked any sort of face/eye posing and ambient occlusion support so I had to make do with a reskinned Imperial Officer from Star Wars Battlefront that has at least faceposing support.

I took creative liberties with Thrawn's outfit, namely loosely drawing from the United States Navy's summer Service Dress White uniforms with an additional star on the Fleet Admiral's shoulder board (effectively creating a six-stared admiral). Plus the limited factors that I had to use a reskinned Imperial Officer from Star Wars: Battlefront means that I cannot change his rank plaques and thus the shoulder boards (based off the US Navy's rank + a sixth star rank representing the rank of the Grand Admiral) as a substitute for the Empire's rank plaques.
